The Joanie motto is “Feel-good clothing with a nod to nostalgia. Making everyday dressing a little more fun!” and this shows in their products. They have been my favourite brand for 70s wear! Certified B Corporation Joanie have been on a Slow-Fashion train since the beginning. They create styles that go beyond the latest trends, they want their styles to stand the test of time. They believe in buying less but buying better.
98 Percent of the clothing on Joanie is made from sustainable materials, by using organic or recycled materials. Joanie continue to use environmentally friendly fabrics and make an ongoing effort to reduce their waste.

Ethical Practises
Joanie produce their products from all around the world in an ethical manor. They are actively finding ways to improve their supply chain. They only use suppliers who are a member of The SEDEX organisation. Meaning they are part of a global ethical data exchange platform that share company data and social and ethical audits amongst its members.
They stand strong in their ethical practices, by being honest and understanding the lack of visibility they have with companies outside themselves, but are always actively working to polish up on areas that are important to Janine and us all on a global scale. More details can be found here

Brief History
Founded by Great Aunt Joanie; Joanie launched their Online Store in 2016, after being heavily inspired by nostalgia, they decided to create a store that makes vintage-style clothing that will stand the test of time in durability and style. They aim to create vintage fashion for the Future!
