Over the past year, my excitement for the zoot suit has grown exponentially. I’ve been on a mission to bring back this iconic style, and I’m thrilled to discover that replicas are emerging that seem to be heading in the right direction. With tailored pieces making a comeback in fashion trends and the widespread adoption of looser fitting trousers; merge the two together and we have the perfect time for a zoot suit revival.

The Zoot Suit Look
Lucy and Yak Tartan
The Lucy and Yak Tartan Suit is my top choice. Made from Brushed Organic Cotton. It has a relaxed fit, but with a classic Tartan print. The sleeves on the jacket are short giving it a more modern yet casual look. My favourite bit is the Jacket is also long enough to be worn as a dress giving you 2 outfits in one!
Ilk and Ernie – The Frank Suit
The Frank suit is 100% Linen the softest kind. Although the trousers don’t have the relaxed feel of the zoot suit, they are still a loose fit on the legs. But what makes this suit a winner is the jacket and the yellow colour. The jacket holds all the oversized features it needs whilst the pop colour of yellow gives zoot suit nostalgia!
Ilk and Ernie – The Harry Set
My Second Favourite so far is the Ilk and Ernie Harry Set. Made from super soft mid weight twill. The Loose-Fitted, High-Waisted trouser gives all the Zoot Suit feels and the Cropped Waistcoat just makes this look POP! Another Zoot Suit Winner
Reformation – The Mason Pant
The Reformation Mason Pant, made from dead stock woven fabric, has all the feels of a zoot suit trouser. They are tailored and loose. Best of all they come in 10 different colours!
Albaray
Albaray are perfect at creating relaxed looks that are fashionable and their suits do just that, giving Zoot Suit feels.
